I selected this photo because it was the most organic and natural looking photo I have taken throughout the year so far. The shape of the leaves and the water droplets on top of them make the piece interesting to look at and it lets your eyes . travel across the photo to see where the other droplets are. The depth of the photo also goes back, so the leaves in the background are more blurry and out of focus. This all leads into the texture of the photo as well, as it gives off an idea of soft and wet to the touch. The camera used to take this photo was a DSLR and there was normal settings within the camera so no other effects were trying to be achieved besides capturing the picture.

The reasoning behind my choice of this photo was because the of the interesting aspects of the background and the color. The white of the dice makes the dark background less drastic and overbearing while the other colors like the red, green, and blues make the image captivating. Along with that, the lines of the bottles and dice make the image seem strange, as if you are in a place like the title given: "wonderland" - where you aren't sure what is going on but it is spellbinding. This picture was taken with the DSLR camera with a fast shutter speed with the rest of the settings normal.

The reason I had picked this last photo is because the strong positive and negative space along with the strong amount of lines as well. The negative of the power-lines to the dramatic colors of the sky makes the image very dramatic by itself. The lines crossing across the sky as well divides up the image but only adds to the negative space and allows your eyes to travel across the screen. The distance and perspective also makes it appear as if you are looking up at the sky as well. This picture was taken with an iPhone 6s camera with no special effects or filters on the camera.
